Velt Studio is a motion design collective that creates work for film, advertising, and live events. Their old website was a generic portfolio template that looked nothing like the quality of work inside it. They wanted a site that felt as considered and kinetic as their showreel — without being so experimental that it confused potential clients.
approach
The entire site was built in Framer with custom code components for the scroll interactions. We designed around the showreel — every section was built to lead toward it and away from it. Typography was set large and confident. Animations were tied to scroll position rather than time, giving the user a sense of control. The result loads in under two seconds and scores 96 on Lighthouse.
